Technetium, from the greek word "technetos" : "artificial" . The first human synthesized element. Used in medical imaging in a host of ways, and possessing a densely packed hexagonal structure when crystalized.

About the Print
2 layers from the same woodblock yellow and then black with the black ink on the bones rubbed off with a Q-tip before printing. Red roman numerals are a separate linoleum cut block printed by hand.
